Morgan Mac Lawyers is seeking a lawyer to join our experienced team in Brisbane. This full-time role will see you providing high-quality legal services to our diverse client base and gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of legal matters.

What you'll be doing

- Working with clients on a broad range of legal matters
- Advising and representing clients on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, business transactions and franchise matters
- Conducting legal research, preparing court documents, and managing the litigation process
- Negotiating settlements and resolutions to disputes, both in and out of court




- Attending Court and briefing Counsel
- Collaborating with the team to provide comprehensive client support
- Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice

What we're looking for

- Tertiary qualification in law and admission to practice as a solicitor in Queensland or interstate equivalent
- 1-2 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercially-focused legal advice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients
- Excellent legal research skills
- Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse caseload and meeting deadlines
- A collaborative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
