As a Physiotherapy Assistant at The Prince Charles Hospital, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings. Working under the delegation and supervision of Physiotherapists, you will assist with the implementation of treatment programs, patient mobility and rehabilitation activities, and contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of patient care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Participate in ongoing training and development activities including Performance Appraisal and Development
- Utilise information technology systems to support clinical and administrative activities and rapidly acquire proficiency in recent digital applications, including electronic medical record systems.
- Provide detailed clinical feedback to the treating physiotherapist and to the health care team as required.
- Participate and contribute as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including regular attendance at relevant meetings and supporting less experienced team members
- Maintain accurate workload statistics and monitor workloads, including weekends and public holidays
