Purchasing & Inventory Admin Assistant (Office based)
Duraflex Group Australia (DGA), established in 1962, is a privately owned and well-respected distributor of fashion jewellery, watches and accessories across Australia and New Zealand.
With over 60 years of industry experience, DGA offers long-term stability and the confidence of joining an established and secure business.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an organised, detail-focused and hands‑on Purchasing & Inventory Admin Assistant to join our Supply Chain team.
Working closely with our Supply Chain Manager, you will be involved in the day-to-day purchasing and inventory requirements of a portfolio of international brands, while also providing essential administrative support across the Supply Chain function.
This is a varied role with a strong administrative component. You'll work across purchase orders, stock and product data, inventory reporting, incoming shipments, range maintenance and hands‑on product preparation.
As you become familiar with our brands and systems, you'll also be involved in preparing and placing orders, monitoring stock requirements and supporting the ongoing inventory needs of your allocated brands.
It's an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with numbers and product, and wants to develop their experience in purchasing and inventory within a supportive team environment.
Previous purchasing experience is not essential.
If you're a strong administrator with excellent attention to detail and an interest in developing your skills in purchasing and inventory, we'll provide full training to help you succeed in the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting with the day-to-day purchasing and inventory requirements of allocated brands
Preparing, processing and placing purchase orders
Monitoring stock levels and supporting replenishment requirements
Maintaining accurate purchasing, inventory and product data
Processing costings and stock receipts
Updating product, pricing and supplier information

Maintaining discontinued, clearance and special-order inventory information
Participating in office-based stocktakes
Preparing and organising physical stock for presentations, launches and range updates
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Supply Chain Manager and wider team
What You’ll Bring
Strong administration and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence working with numbers, data and spreadsheets
Good Excel and general computer skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow them through to completion
A practical, hands‑on approach and willingness to work with physical product when required
Previous experience in purchasing, inventory, stock administration or buying support would be an advantage, but is not essential
Who You Are
You're someone who enjoys being organised, keeping things moving and making sure the details are right.
You're comfortable with the administrative side of purchasing — maintaining accurate data, processing orders, updating information and following up deliveries — while also being interested in developing your purchasing knowledge and taking greater responsibility for allocated brands over time.
You'll enjoy being part of a team, take pride in accuracy and be happy to roll up your sleeves when there's stock to prepare, a range to update or a stocktake to complete.
