Internally referred to as Coordinator - Growth Management
About the Role
Help shape the future of one of Queensland's fastest-growing regional communities.
Reporting to the Manager Strategic Planning and Growth, you'll lead Council's Growth Management Program, delivering strategic planning initiatives that support housing, infrastructure and sustainable regional development.
Duties
- Lead Council's Growth Management Strategy and major planning projects
- Deliver structure planning, land supply and growth sequencing initiatives
- Provide expert advice on strategic planning and development outcomes
- Build partnerships with government agencies, developers and industry stakeholders
- Manage consultants and deliver projects on time and within budget
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Degree in Urban Planning, Development Management or a related discipline
- Experience in growth management,
strategic planning or land use planning
- Experience developing Master Plans and negotiating Infrastructure Agreements
- Robust knowledge of Queensland planning legislation
- Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence or ability to obtain one
- Earn $120K to $127K PLUS 15% Employer Super
- Super increases to 16% from July 2027
- Relocation Assistance available for eligible candidates
