Parnell is on an exciting growth trajectory and we’re looking for a Manufacturing Quality (MQA) Team Leader to join our team at our Alexandria, Sydney manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the QA Manager - Manufacturing, you’ll be part of our growing QA team where no two days are the same. You’ll have the autonomy to own your work, the challenge of solving real problems, and the satisfaction of knowing that what you do every day directly contributes to animal health outcomes around the world.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

This role requires a highly motivated quality professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound decision-making skills, a proactive approach to compliance management and the capability to independently manage critical quality systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Line management of Manufacturing Quality Associates (MQAs) and coordination of tasks within the MQA team (part of QA)

Performing of Quality representation and functions within production including but not limited to; line clearance, sampling, AQL inspection and controlled label management

Contribute to real time Root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and participate in root cause analysis workshops.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of cGMP compliance in production applicable to all relevant regulatory jurisdictions

Document updates, deviation reporting / writing, corrective and preventative (CAPA) investigations, trend data analysis.

Conduct packaging component sampling,



testing and release according to cGMP and company standard operating procedures at all times (where required)

Conduct consumable sampling, testing and release according to cGMP and company standard operating procedures at all times (where required)

Conduct internal audits as required

Review of analyses and logbooks where required

Any other tasks related to the role requested by the QA Manager Manufacturing or VP of Quality

ABOUT YOU

You’re a proactive, solutions-focused individual who takes pride in your work and thrives in a fast-paced, regulated workplace. You bring:

Tertiary qualification in Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Quality Assurance or a related discipline

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Team Leader or similar role in a cGMP/Pharmaceutical environment

A highly developed competence in cGMP/cGLP

Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues while making timely and accurate decisions

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Strong writing skills relevant to quality documents and reports

Experience in a sterile manufacturing environment highly regarded
