The Renovations Consultant supports customers transitioning their novated leases during employer changes, individually or in bulk. The role ensures a smooth, timely process through proactive communication, tailored support, and precise administration. By maintaining data integrity and delivering outstanding customer service, the consultant enhances customer satisfaction, retention, and operational excellence.
Role requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees undergoing lease transfers
- Manage assigned renovation (lease transfer) cases with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring all steps are completed within required timeframes
- Prepare and process all relevant documentation—including deeds of novation and quotations—while maintaining thorough and compliant records
- Collaborate with employees, employers, finance providers, and salary packaging administrators to facilitate smooth transitions and foster strong working relationships
- Ensure all lease transfers adhere to applicable tax, payroll, and salary packaging regulations; proactively identify and mitigate risks such as employer non-participation or payroll delays
- Maintain workflow alignment with established KPIs,
ensuring performance targets are consistently met.
- Regularly update workflow systems to provide clear visibility of task status to internal teams and stakeholders
Experience and Skills
- Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Robust numeracy and attention to detail with the ability to understand complex finance and taxation concepts
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance
