With a strong presence in the market, they provide a team-oriented and results-driven environment for their team members.Job DescriptionKey ActivitiesCreate recent or revise product designs for the designated product category aligned with CR's product strategy, or in response to existing product issues according to CR and industry standardsConduct peer reviews of other engineers' designs to ensure that they are completed using sound engineering practiceApply the applicable controls identified to reduce risk to the designEnsure that all technical designs and solutions are provided in a manner that allows efficient manufacturingWork efficiently as part of a teamPlan and conduct qualified engineering work without detailed supervision, but with guidance from the senior engineering teamExercise individual judgement and initiative in the application of engineering principles, techniques and methodsTake part in root cause investigations into CR product related issues to gain a further understanding of the productsSupport other departments in CR with the provision of technical information relating to CR products as guided by other senior members of the engineering teamAttend client or supplier sites to assess and/or support CR products throughout their life cyclePrototype, trial or simulate proposed product designs with guidance to verify that they achieve the requirements detailedPrepare engineering reports, designs, drawings and/or presentations
