Our client is a leading FMCG business with a robust presence in the industry operating nationally across Australia.
They are seeking a Supply Planner, with a core focus on Production Planning, to join the team on a 12-month contract with the high likelihood of moving into a permanent position as the business continues to grow.The RoleReporting to Supply Chain lead, this role will take accountability for supply planning activities, ensuring that the right materials and products are in the correct locations to support the manufacturing process within the business.
You will play a key role in planning all production activities for your portfolio.Lead supply planning activities to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining the right balance between inventory investment and service performance.Formulate and oversee production plans that optimise manufacturing capacity, meet delivery expectations, and support changing business priorities.Manage finished goods inventory to achieve stock targets,



including coordinating replenishment and procurement activities with external manufacturing partners.Drive distribution and replenishment planning to ensure products are available across warehouses and distribution channels.Plan the timely supply of raw materials and packaging components to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.Monitor inventory performance and supply trends, identifying potential shortages or excess stock and implementing appropriate corrective actions.Work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service to align supply plans with business requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance planning processes, inventory performance, and overall supply chain efficiency.Your BackgroundTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Solid experience of Production Planning, Supply Planning or Inventory Management within an FMCG manufacturing setting.Proven ability of working at pace and taking autonomy for decisions, whilst having the skills to influence stakeholders.Knowledge of ERP and strong Excel skills.What's on offerIn return you will be given the chance to work for a leading FMCG business, playing an integral part of the S&OP; team on a 12 Month contract.
This role is based in SW Sydney Monday- Friday on-site, and the business are looking to pay $105K - $115K + Super.
