We are seeking a Roof & Gutter Cleaner to join the Gutter Monkeys Pty Ltd team in Winston Hills, NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Roof & Gutter Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and functionality of residential and commercial properties, ensuring gutters and roofing systems remain clear of debris and functioning optimally. This role is essential to our service delivery and directly impacts customer satisfaction and property maintenance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and clear gutters, downpipes and roof surfaces of leaves, debris and other obstructions
- Inspect roofs and gutters for damage, wear or potential issues and report findings to management
- Use appropriate tools and equipment safely, including ladders, pressure washers and hand tools
- Work at heights whilst maintaining strict safety protocols and adhering to relevant Australian safety standards
- Provide skilled customer service and communicate effectively with property owners regarding work completed
- Maintain a clean and organised work site and properly dispose of collected debris
- Perform minor repairs or maintenance tasks as required, under supervision
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
What we're looking for
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights safely and comfortably
- Positive head for heights and no fear of working on ladders and roofing systems
- Attention to detail and commitment to thorough, quality work
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use equipment correctly
- Positive communication skills and customer-focused approach
- Previous experience in gutter cleaning, roofing, property maintenance or similar outdoor trades is advantageous but not essential
- A current driver's licence is preferred
- Willingness to undertake relevant training or certifications, such as working at heights qualifications
