O'Neil Transport is a successful, regionally based transport business. Our fleet of heavy commercial vehiclesare serviced and maintained by a team of diesel mechanics in our well set out and modern facility.

The fleet consists mainly of Kenworth and Isuzu plant and BPW Trailer equipment.

Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic; workshop experience desirable

Skills/Experience

- Experience in the service & repair of heavy transport equipment
- Diagnostic skills experience would be an advantage
- Experience in both Cat and Cummins is preferable but not essential

The Role

- You will be efficient and capable of prioritizing both routine and unexpected jobs
- Maintenance of a modern fleet of Kenworth trucks and Isuzu rigids
- Service of Trailer equipment with BPW suspension and axles.
- You will need to sign off on work for roadworthiness as being completed & secure




- You will actively contribute to ensuring that all workplace safety policies & procedures are maintained and followed at all times

Who You Are

- You are experienced in the service & repair of heavy haulage equipment or mobile plant
- You are committed to ensuring a safe workplace
- You are well organized
- You are able to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- You are a quick worker and can deliver on time and look beyond a ‘quick fix’
- You have a keen eye for detecting issues and repair needs before they become problematic
