About the Role

As the Digital Platforms Officer, you will:

- Manage and support Council's websites, intranet and SharePoint platforms.
- Maintain platform architecture, site structures, templates and navigation.
- Monitor platform performance, security and availability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, integrations and platform dependencies.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, cyber security and legislative requirements.
- Analyse user behaviour and apply user‑centred design to improve experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver effective digital solutions.

What You’ll Bring

- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.




- Experience supporting enterprise websites, intranets and Microsoft SharePoint environments.
- Strong understanding of digital platform architecture, frameworks and design principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards cyber security and privacy requirements.
- Experience managing platform integrations, APIs and third‑party services.
- Robust troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience applying user‑centred design, governance frameworks and continuous improvement practices.
