Our client, an established Australian metal manufacturing business is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator and Welder to join its production team in Sunshine. This position has a strong focus on CNC laser cutting and CNC brake press operation, supported by welding and general fabrication duties.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machinery
- Set up and operate CNC brake press machinery
- Select programs, tooling and machine settings according to job requirements
- Read technical drawings and check completed components against required tolerances
- Complete MIG welding, second class welding, fabrication, grinding and finishing duties
- Monitor production, identify faults and complete basic machine inspections and adjustments
Skills and Experience
- Practical CNC laser cutting experience
- CNC brake press or metal forming experience
- Experience within metal manufacturing, engineering or fabrication
- Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
- Australian driver’s licence, reliable transport and valid Australian work rights
