- Salary range: $69,823 to $73,188 p.a. (OO3)




- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

As an Emergency Department Ambassador, you will provide person-centred support within the Townsville University Hospital Emergency Department.

You will engage with patients, carers and visitors to improve their experience, maintain a safe clinical environment and help prevent or de-escalate agressive or disruptive behaviour through respectful and compassionate communication.

Working with the multidisciplinary team, you will monitor consumers, provide support and elevate clinical or security concerns as required.

Requirements

- Healthcare security or customer service experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work a continuous 24/7 roster.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
