In this role, you'll:

- Drive and support the ministerial correspondence function across Transport for NSW by preparing, reviewing, and submitting all correspondence and related documentation accurately and on time, ensuring the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
- Draft responses to complex or multi-divisional responses and oversee the daily operations of a unit of Senior Ministerial Correspondence Officers, providing guidance and quality assurance to the unit, and ensuring processes comply with established procedures, standards, and government requirements.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of a unit of direct reports, and will primarily focus on complex cases, coordinating workloads, ensuring task completion, maintaining quality standards, and escalating issues where required.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including Ministerial offices, the Secretary’s office, and internal divisions, to facilitate the effective coordination and delivery of correspondence. You will also advise stakeholders on processes, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to improve workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing team capability, workflow efficiency, and the overall quality of correspondence management.

You thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, requiring attention to detail,



team management and the ability to manage competing priorities in a politically sensitive environment.

You also possess:

- Demonstrated experience in coordinating Ministerial or Executive correspondence functions within a large and complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of government correspondence protocols, style requirements, and approval processes.
- Proven ability to manage workloads, supervise staff, and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines in a high volume, time-sensitive environment.
- Experience in applying quality assurance and continuous improvement practices to administrative or communication processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in public administration, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
