Key Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patients presenting to the Urgent Care Service.
- Recognise patient deterioration and escalates care when required.
- Deliver clinical care including wound management, suturing support and plaster application within your scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with medical practitioners to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and compassionate, person-centred care.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all health and safety requirements.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Minimum three years' experience in Emergency, ICU, CCU or Rural/Remote nursing.
- Previous triage experience is highly regarded.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Strong assessment, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
- Able to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
