- Partner with departments across council to provide hands‑on HR advice on recruitment, performance management, organisational change, and employee matters

Preferred Requirements
- Solid experience in HR business partnering or a similar advisory role, ideally in a large organisation or public sector environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law, enterprise agreements, and HR policies and procedures
- Proven ability to manage sensitive workplace matters, including performance and disciplinary issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with managers and staff at all levels
- Experience with HR information systems and the ability to manage data accurately and confidentially
Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Qualified HR certification such as AHRI membership or equivalent
- Current Police Records Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain these)
