We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanics / Light vehicle mechanics to join our team at Diesel Repairs Professionals Pty Ltd in Mildura, Victoria. As a Diesel Mechanic / light vehicle mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy diesel equipment, light diesel equipment and components associated in a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnose and repair a variety of machines, including those used in earthmoving, agriculture and road transport.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, component replacements and component rebuilds
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Ensure a secure and clean work environment

What we're looking for





- Formal qualification in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related field (light vehicle may be accepted)
- 3rd year+ apprentices with experience in light or heavy vehicles
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or light vehicle technician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Positive communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- A valid driver's licence
- Honest and reliable
