AbouttheOpportunityPARCEngineeringisseekinganexperiencedSMPSuperintendenttojoinamajorprojectbasedinKalgoorlie.Thisisanexcitingopportunitytoplayakeyroleinthesuccessfuldeliveryofasignificantprojectwhileworkingalongsideahigh-performingprojectsteam.

TheSuperintendentwillberesponsibleforthesafe,effective,andefficientdeliveryofoperational,maintenance,shutdown,andprojectactivitiesacrosssite.Theroleprovidesstrategicleadershiptoprojectteamsensuringworkisexecutedsafely,onschedule,withinbudget,andtotherequiredqualitystandards.
KeyResponsibilities:

- Provideleadership,direction,andmentoringtoSupervisors,Coordinators,Planners,LeadingHands,andsitepersonnel.
- Promoteapositivesafetycultureandleadbyexample.
- Developworkforcecapabilitythroughcoaching,training,andperformance team.
- Conductregularteammeetings,toolboxtalks,andperformancereviews.
- Fosteracollaborativeandhigh-performingworkenvironment.
- Leadtheplanningandexecutionofmaintenance,shutdown,construction,andprojectactivities.
- Ensureworkisdeliveredsafely,efficiently,andinaccordancewithclientrequirements.
- Coordinatelabour,equipment,materials,andsubcontractorstooptimiseproductivity.
- Overseeworkschedulingandresourceallocationtomeetprojectmilestones.
- Ensureeffectivecommunicationbetweenoperations,planning,engineering,procurement,andclientrepresentatives.
- Manageshutdownplanning,execution,andclose-outactivities.
- Monitorprogressthroughoutshutdownsandimplementrecoveryplanswhererequired.
- Leaddailycoordinationmeetingsduringshutdownexecution.
