Customer Service Clerk | Sheet Metal Manufacturer | Richlands, Brisbane

H People is partnering exclusively with a leading sheet metal manufacturer in Richlands to find a reliable, customer-focused Customer Service Clerk. It's a stable business with a good reputation, and this role sits right at the centre of keeping customers looked after and orders moving.

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, processing and tracking orders, answering product, pricing and availability enquiries, and working closely with production, sales and logistics to make sure everything runs on time. When problems come up, whether it’s a return, a complaint or a follow-up, you’ll own it and elevate where needed.

What you’ll be doing:

- Handling customer calls, emails and front-desk enquiries professionally
- Entering and tracking orders accurately from start to delivery
- Providing product, pricing and availability information
- Managing returns, complaints and follow-ups




- Coordinating with production, sales and logistics to keep orders on track
- Keeping customer files and documentation up to date

What you’ll bring:

- Customer service or order‑processing experience (manufacturing or trade background is a plus)
- Strong communication skills and a confident phone manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Organised, accurate and comfortable juggling priorities in a busy environment
- Full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident)
- Willingness to complete a pre‑employment functional medical and drug & alcohol test
