Due to the AI boom in Data Centres Enertech Electrical is seeking a Qualified Electrician to work on Commercial & Data Centre Projects to join our growing team in Stafford, QLD 4053. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and data centre electrical fibre & data installations and maintenance projects. You will play a crucial role in delivering safe, compliant and high-quality electrical solutions to our valued clients. This position is based in Brisbane, with potential for travel to project locations as required.

Key responsibilities

- Install, test and commission electrical systems and equipment in commercial sites, laboraties and data centre environments
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing electrical installations to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Read and interpret electrical plans, schematics and technical drawings for complex commercial projects
- Conduct electrical inspections and testing using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian electrical standards, regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and site activities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used and labour hours
- Mentor and support junior electricians and apprentices where applicable
- Adhere to strict health and safety requirements and site-specific safety procedures at all times

What we're looking for

- Current electrical licence as a qualified electrician in Queensland
- Experience in commercial electrical work, with data centre experience highly valued
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards and compliance requirements relevant to commercial and data centre installations
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics,



plans and technical documentation
- Competency with a range of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
- Experience working on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
- A commitment to health and safety best practices and maintaining a clean, organised work workplace
- Current First Aid Certificate and working knowledge of relevant safety regulations
- A valid driver's licence for travel between project sites
