This newly created role supports the Workshop Manager as hands-on 2IC, coordinating daily workflow while delivering fitting, fabrication, maintenance and breakdown support across feed mill and poultry infrastructure.
Duties
- Prioritise daily workshop jobs and keep work moving.
- Guide tradespeople and apprentices on the workshop floor.
- Check quality, safety, permits, job cards and timesheets.
- Complete fitting, fabrication, repairs and maintenance.
- Manage tools, consumables, parts flow and workshop order.
Benefits
- $45 - $48/hr + super + overtime and penalty rates.
- 9-day fortnight (every 2nd Monday or Friday off).

Skills & experience
- Relevant mechanical / engineering trade qualification or equivalent background.
- Workshop, industrial, agricultural or feed mill experience.
- Hands-on leadership, mentoring or supervisory ability.
- Open licence, White Card and Full Australian work rights.
