Louie is a neighbourhood restaurant in Coogee, just across from the beach, serving a contemporary Italian menu in a casual but elevated setting. We are a busy restaurant that has been open for the past 4 years going from strength to strength.
We're looking for experienced wait staff who can take a section, own it, and make it look easy. People that have a genuine passion for food, service and hospitality excellence.
What the job actually looks like
- Running your own section and leading the floor alongside our management team - reading a room before it needs you, keeping your team calm and moving, being the person who fixes the thing before the guest has to mention it.
- Talking guests through the menu with real knowledge - what's in it, why we cook it that way, what to drink with it - and setting the standard for how everyone else on the floor does the same.
- You know your way around a wine list and can genuinely recommend, not just recite.
- You're warm with guests without being scripted - you actually like people.
- You get a kick out of a table leaving happier than they arrived.
