Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists are invited to apply to lead multidisciplinary mental health services within Queensland Corrective Services (QCS).

- 5 weeks annual leave

About the Role:
Based at Lotus Glen Correctional Centre in Mareeba, Queensland, you'll help shape lives through evidence-based mental health care in a unique, culturally diverse environment. The QCS Mental Health Services team provide support the prisoner population to improve outcomes by providing inclusive mental health and well-being services that are culturally safe and deliver impactful rehabilitative care.
- Provide high level clinical services, interventions and assessments in complex cases and situations.
- Support clinical supervision and mentorship to contribute to team performance, capability learning, and retention.
- Contribute to the development of support and management plans compliant with QCS protocols.
- Build partnerships and stakeholder relationships with external organisations, Centre operational teams and specialist units to support integrated service delivery.

About You:
- Advanced clinical capability, with the confidence to deliver high-quality clinical services in a complex, high-demand environment where adaptability and a thoughtful approach to practice are key.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams and with stakeholders, provide expert advice, and contribute to professional discussions.
- Ability to provide clinical practice supervision and facilitate the development of critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Occupational Therapy with relevant registration with AHPRA, or tertiary qualifications in Social Work with membership to AASW highly desirable.
- Minimum two years' post-graduate experience in mental health (desirable).
- C Class Driver's Licence.
