The Opportunity
Join the a growing finance team of a leading property group dedicated to delivering exceptional services and outstanding results. With a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and innovation, they specialise in premium property sales and property management.
This is a hands‑on role that offers exposure across a broad range of accounting functions, ideal for a junior accountant or experienced bookkeeper looking to grow their career in a supportive and fast‑paced workplace. You will work closely with the Head of Finance, a highly experienced leader passionate about mentoring and developing the team.
The Challenge
Reporting into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Managing trust accounts and marketing reconciliations
- Processing payroll, superannuation, employee entitlements and other payroll compliance tasks
- Reconciling bank statements and financial accounts
- Preparing and lodging BAS, GST, and payroll tax (if applicable)
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
The Expertise
Please consider applying if you possess the following:
- 1-3+ years of experience in a comparable Bookkeeper/Accounts-All Rounder/Junior Accountant position
- Experience in real estate or trust accounting (advantageous, not essential)
- Exposure to Xero (highly regarded)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to liaise with key stakeholders
- A positive, can‑do attitude with great attention to detail
