The National Parks Association of NSW (NPA) is a member-driven community organisation dedicated to the protection and appreciation of nature. Our work has two complementary lines of focus. Securing the long-term conservation of nature and associated cultural values is a primary objective—so that our core natural areas remain safeguarded for generations to come. To this is added our unique role in promoting diverse and rewarding opportunities for people to explore, study, care for, learn about, appreciate and enjoy nature.
NPA is an incorporated association and registered charity with DGR status. It has a strongly decentralised structure of regional and specialist member groups, providing meaningful opportunities for member involvement throughout the organisation.
