Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Principal Program Officer – Asset Management Improvement to support the delivery of a significant program of strategic initiatives focused on strengthening asset management practices, improving organisational maturity and supporting better infrastructure planning and decision-making.

Working closely with the Program Manager, you will coordinate multiple projects and workstreams across planning, budgeting, governance, reporting, risk management, change and stakeholder engagement. The role requires someone comfortable operating in a complex program environment and engaging with project leads, senior management and other key stakeholders.

Rate:Circa $93.58 per hour + super
Location: Brisbane
Contract Length: 9 months with possible extension

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate program planning, budgeting, delivery and reporting across multiple projects and manage program interdependencies.
- Develop high-quality strategic advice, analysis, briefing notes, presentations, business cases and reports.
- Coordinate change management and stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, communication and adoption strategies.
- Manage program governance activities, including governance papers, action registers, decision logs, risk and issue registers and performance reporting.
- Review and validate project and program reporting to ensure information is accurate, evidence-based and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Support the identification and management of program risks, issues and constraints,



including appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders on sound project and program management practices.
- Contribute to fit-for-purpose asset management solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, lessons learned and benefits realisation activities.

About You

- Experience coordinating asset management improvement programs or projects, ideally within a built infrastructure environment.
- Experience operating across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong project governance and reporting expertise, including status reports, dashboards and Executive or Board-level reporting.
- Demonstrated risk and issue management capability within complex implementation projects.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organisational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, using data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and JIRA, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
