Our client, a well established manufacturing business in Melbourne's North West, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Description
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting across the business
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis
- Assist with the implementation of process, systems and reporting improvements
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit requirements
- Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards completion
- 3+ years' experience in a similar Financial Accountant role
- Manufacturing, automotive or FMCG industry experience (highly regarded)
- Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar is advantageous)
- A proactive, hands on approach with strong attention to detail
- Confident stakeholder communication skills
