Agile Delivery Business Analyst - Cyber Security

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Business Analyst (Cyber BA) on an initial 6-month contract basis to join their team in Bella Vista. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining onsite presence with versatile remote work. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting cyber security initiatives through effective business analysis, agile delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

This is a hybrid role based in Bella Vista, NSW, offering a blend of onsite and remote work flexibility to support team collaboration and personal productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

- Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements related to cyber security initiatives.
- Translate complex cyber and security concepts into clear, structured requirements and user stories.
- Produce essential artefacts including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to ensure alignment and clarity.

Cyber Security Project Support

- Support Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Operations Centre (SOC), Cyber Data, and risk/compliance initiatives.
- Assist with impact assessments,



control mapping, and remediation tracking.
- Collaborate closely with security architects, engineers, and risk teams to deliver effective solutions.

Agile Delivery & Scrum Execution

- Drive agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage the backlog in Jira encompassing epics, user stories, and tasks.
- Support prioritisation efforts alongside relevant stakeholders to ensure business value delivery.

Stakeholder Management

- Engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Provide transparent updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Serve as the liaison between cyber teams and business units to foster collaboration.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Proven experience as an enterprise Business Analyst with strong skills in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working on cyber or information security projects.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency in Jira for backlog management and Confluence for documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in large enterprise or highly regulated environments.
- Exposure to cyber transformation projects.
- Relevant certifications such as Business Analyst credentials, Agile, or Cyber Security certifications.
