- Assist with daily food preparation (washing, cutting, basic prep work).
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, benches, equipment and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health & safety procedures.
- Support chefs during food service by assisting with plating and ingredient restocking.
- Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
- Perform general back-of-house duties as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Availability for at least 2 days per week.
- Currently studying or have completed a qualification in Hospitality or a related field (preferred).
- Solid communication skills and a positive team attitude.
- Willing to learn, reliable and committed to building a career in hospitality.
- Must have working eligibility in Australia (subclass 500 and 485 accepted).
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
