Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) / IPS Lead - Navy ICT

Location: Sydney Region (On-site required)

Security Clearance: NV1 mandatory

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ILS/IPS Lead to support the delivery and sustainment of a complex ICT-enabled maritime capability within the Defence setting. This senior role ensures supportability, logistics governance, and lifecycle management are embedded across hardware, networked systems, and mission-critical ICT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead ILS/IPS planning, documentation and assurance across the capability lifecycle.
- Manage supportability strategies for ICT hardware, COTS components, cyber-worthiness and obsolescence.
- Oversee ERP governance including purchasing, disposals, warehousing, stocktaking and MRP.
- Maintain configuration items, catalogue data, BoMs,



APL/RPL/OAL and logistics traceability.
- Support procurement activities including BuyICT panel engagement, Outline Agreements and ASDEFCON-aligned processes.
- Influence engineering, ICT delivery, procurement and sustainment stakeholders across Defence and industry.
- Identify and manage IPS risks including LLTIs, vendor dependency and supply chain constraints.

Skills & Experience

- 10+ years in Defence logistics, ILS/IPS or sustainment.
- Strong understanding of Defence ERP functional domains.
- Experience with configuration and logistics data management.
- Knowledge of ICT lifecycle management, obsolescence and vendor support models.
- High-level stakeholder engagement across Defence, OEMs and ICT vendors.
