Skills and experience
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a current NSW Conveyancer Licence
- Has experience managing residential conveyancing matters
- Is confident using PEXA
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Communicates clearly and confidently with clients and stakeholders
- Is organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines
- Takes ownership of their matters and follows things through
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes pride in providing a high level of client service
Experience using legal or conveyancing practice management software and DocuSign is ideal, but not essential.
Key responsibilities
- Managing residential sale and purchase matters from initial instructions through to settlement
- Preparing, reviewing and advising on Contracts for Sale
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, solicitors, conveyancers, brokers and financial institutions
- Preparing for and facilitating PEXA settlements
- Managing settlement and post-settlement requirements
- Keeping matters progressing and identifying issues early
- Providing clients with clear, practical guidance throughout their transaction
