Chainsaw Operator/ Ground Arborist | Work for Council

Are you a green-space professional looking to grow your career in a energetic, supportive environment? Redland City Council is seeking a proactive Arborist Team Member to join our Parks Operations team.

What You Need:

- Certificate III Horticulture or Certificate II Arboriculture (with tree experience) *Desirable*
- Current MR Class Driver's License (Medium Rigid)
- White Card - Building and Construction Industry Certification
- Level 1 Operate and Maintain Chainsaw certification
- Chainsaw Fall Trees Manually (Intermediate) accreditation

What You'll Do:

- Field Operations: Perform ground-based pruning, tree removals, mulching, and planting in road reserves and parks.
- Equipment Management: Safely operate and maintain a range of industry tools.

- Safety : Understand safety measures and ensure the work area is kept clean and free of hazards
