You will join a large-scale exploration drilling program supporting a key mineral project in Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Field Technician Supervisor / Senior Field Technician to provide leadership across field activities and support the successful delivery of exploration operations at a remote site approximately 330km from Cairns.

You will take a hands-on leadership role across sampling, field data collection, quality control and day-to-day exploration activities, while providing guidance to field technicians and working closely with geologists, drill crews and site teams. This is an immediate start contract prospect running through to December, with camp accommodation and site facilities provided. Roster and travel arrangements will be discussed upon application.

You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of safety, data quality and operational performance across the exploration program. Your ability to coordinate field activities, solve problems and support the wider team will be key to the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate field technicians across daily exploration activities
- Coordinate sampling, sample handling, tracking and quality control
- Support RC and diamond drilling program requirements
- Maintain accurate field data, records, reporting and documentation
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to field team members
- Liaise with geologists,



drill crews and site teams to coordinate activities
- Promote and maintain high safety, environmental and operational standards

About you

- Proven background in mining, exploration or field-based technician roles
- Strong experience across exploration sampling and drilling programs
- Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate field-based teams
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Confident communicator who works effectively across site teams
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote site environment
- Manual driver’s licence and ability to pass medical and D&A; requirements
