Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a leading top-tier Australian law firm, renowned for its market leading Competition practice and solid international alliance network, to find a Business Development Manager to support the firm's Competition group and manage its global alliance relationships out of Sydney.

What you'll do?

- Partner closely with the Competition Practice Lead and senior partners to shape and deliver the practice's BD plan
- Manage end to end tenders and pitches; strategy, credentials, pricing input and stakeholder coordination
- Own the firm's international alliance relationship, supporting partner international engagement and crossborder coordination
- Proactively surface market, client and competitor insights that shape practice strategy. This is an insights led role, not a reactive one




- Drive profile raising activity including directory submissions, thought leadership, client research and CRM/pursuit system management

What we're looking for?

- Business development experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment
- Prior exposure to a Competition, regulatory or disputes adjacent practice highly regarded
- A proven track record managing tenders and pitches from strategy through to delivery
- Confidence and credibility operating directly with partners and senior stakeholders
- A proactive, insights driven approach: someone who identifies opportunities rather than waiting to be asked
