Technical Business Analyst - Data Warehouse - Hybrid setting - wfh & CBD office + Daily rate We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst - Data Warehouse to join a major data transformation program within a leading superannuation organisation.
Working within the PMO, you will play a key role in defining the upfront business and technical requirements for a new enterprise data warehouse. You will work closely with Data Engineers, business stakeholders and an external implementation vendor to ensure requirements are clearly defined and ready for delivery.
The Role:
- Gather, analyse and validate business and technical data requirements
- Define requirements for a new enterprise data warehouse
- Undertake source-to-target analysis and data mapping
- Work across Acurity and other enterprise/member platforms
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and business glossaries
- Define business rules, data definitions and transformation requirements
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Modellers
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Work with the implementation vendor to clarify and validate requirements throughout delivery
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst on data-focused programs
- Demonstrated data warehouse / data platform implementation experience
- Strong data mapping and source-to-target analysis capability
- Experience defining data dictionaries, business glossaries and data requirements
- Good understanding of SQL, databases and data structures
- Experience working closely with Data Engineering teams
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Highly Desirable:
- Microsoft Azure data platform experience
- Acurity experience
- Superannuation / financial services experience
- Experience with member administration platforms
- Exposure to enterprise data warehouse migrations or transformations
