The Deputy Head of Sport is a key member of the Sectional Leadership Team, supporting the delivery of a vibrant and inclusive sporting program that promotes student wellbeing, engagement and achievement. Working closely with the Head of Sport, the role provides leadership in the planning and coordination of sporting opportunities that foster teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and personal excellence.
The Deputy Head of Sport builds strong relationships with students, staff and families, monitors student participation and supports the development of programs that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
The role contributes to a positive sporting culture aligned with the College's values of Respect, Compassion and Integrity and its commitment to holistic student development
- Full- time fixed-term role (22 January2027 to 10 December 2027)
- Position of Responsibility (POR) plus teaching load
- Based at our Berwick Campus
- Annual responsibility allowance of $5,912
- 6 periods per cycle of leadership time release
- Support the leadership and delivery of the College's sporting program
- Promote student participation, wellbeing and sporting excellence
- Collaborate with students, staff and families to foster a positive sporting culture
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration required
- Dedicated induction and mentoring program for all new staff
