About the Role

Thishands‑on, outdoor role provides the opportunity to learn anddevelop the skills needed to maintain bushland reserves, restorenative vegetation, and support ecological conservationprojects.

Therole involves activities such as weed control, planting,brush‑cutting, seed collection, habitat restoration, and generalmaintenance across natural areas. Working alongside experiencedteam members, you’ll gain practical knowledge of local ecosystems,native species, protected work practices, and the tools and equipmentused in bushland management.

Thisis a fantastic entry‑level opportunity for someone passionate aboutconservation and eager to build a career in natural areamanagement. Comprehensive on‑the‑job training will be provided tosupport your development, including completion of a nationallyrecognised Certificate III in Conservation and LandManagement.

About you

Youenjoy working outdoors, don’t mind getting your hands dirty, andhave a genuine interest in the environment and local bushland.You’re reliable, enthusiastic,



and willing to learn new skills,with a positive approach to teamwork and physical work.

You’llbring:

- A passion for conservation, native flora and fauna, andprotecting natural spaces
- A readiness for physically active work in varying weatherconditions
- An eagerness to learn bushland maintenance techniques,equipment use, and safe work practices
- Good communication skills and a willingness to workcollaboratively
- A proactive attitude and commitment to contributing to a safeand inclusive workplace

Previousexperience isn’t required — just the right attitude, a strong workethic, and an interest in developing a career within the naturalenvironment field.

Salary and Benefits:

Level 1 ($69,728) of the City ofCockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications andexperience.
