Johnson Health Tech. Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Service Technician - Gold Coast - QLD to join our growing team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position based in Gold Coast - QLD, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of fitness equipment and related systems. As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support, helping to maintain the quality and performance standards that Johnson Health Tech. is known for across Australia. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise whilst working with industry-leading equipment and technology.
Key responsibilities
- Install and set up fitness equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper assembly and calibration
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on fitness machines to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
- Respond to customer service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all work completed
- Ensure all safety standards and compliance requirements are met during service visits
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
- Liaise with management and other team members to coordinate service schedules and workload
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery processes
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician or similar technical role
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
- Experience with fitness equipment, mechanical systems, or related industry preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule whilst adhering to company procedures
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation for travelling to customer locations
- Physical capability to lift, carry and work with heavy equipment
- Willingness to learn new technologies and equipment systems
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (electrical, mechanical, or engineering-related) would be advantageous
