Join Our Course Maintenance Team
Strathfield Golf Club is seeking a motivated and reliable Golf Course Groundsman to join our dedicated course maintenance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and wants to develop their skills in golf course maintenance and turf management.
About the Role
Working as part of our course maintenance team, you will assist with the daily presentation and maintenance of the golf course, including:
- General golf course and turf maintenance
- Mowing greens, tees, fairways and surrounds
- Line trimming and general landscaping
- Gardening and weed control
- Bunkers, paths and course presentation
- Irrigation maintenance and repairs
- Fertilising, spraying and turf management activities
- General course setup and maintenance
- Operation and basic maintenance of turf machinery
- Assisting with renovation and improvement projects
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing a high standard of work
- Willing to learn and develop turf management skills
- Has a good eye for detail and course presentation
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Holds a current driver's licence
Previous golf course, turf, landscaping, horticulture or grounds maintenance experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
