Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic OOSH Educator? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to become a part of our family-owned business that has been providing exceptional care and education for children aged birth to 12 years since 1994. With over 350 passionate Educators spread across the Hunter, Maitland, Newcastle, and Port Stephens regions, we take immense pride in delivering high-quality services to our community.

We are currently looking fora qualified OOSH Educator to join our team who is excited and passionate about OOSH and school age care.

We are committed to embedding the Child Safe Standards and maintaining an environment that promotes the safeguarding of all children, as an educator in our service, you'll play a vital role in promoting the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of children alongside our dedicated team.

The position is a variety of split shifts across 5 days per week - various hours

we recognise the importance of providing a safe and well-maintained environment for our children to thrive. Our dedicated Maintenance Team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our centres are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functionally sound, creating an optimal setting for learning and play.

Your Essential Requirements and Key Responsibilities:

- To be considered for this position, you should hold a minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- You must have a strong commitment to child safety- A zero tolerance to harm or risk of harm to all children and commitment to a culture of reporting harm or risk of harm to all children.
- Experience programming and planning for school age children in an OOSH setting including assessing needs and interests, setting objectives, fostering engagement, designing, implementing, and evaluating intentional and spontaneous experiences.
- You should possess a Current Working with Children Check NSW, along with First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates and current Child Protection Training.
- Your passion for Out of School Hours Care should shine through, aligned with Tillys' values of professionalism, high-quality care, inclusive and supportive relationships, unique learning environments, and play-based learning.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time Our Place Framework (MTOP) is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected to maintain a high professional standard.
