- Preparing and cooking menu items to our recipes and standards
- Completing daily food preparation and setting up for service
- Working a kitchen section during service, with support and training as required
- Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portioning
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Receiving and correctly storing deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workspace
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Developing your kitchen skills and gradually taking on greater responsibility
About You
Ideally, you will have some experience in a café, restaurant, pub, catering or other commercial kitchen environment. You’ll be reliable, organised and comfortable working at pace during busy services.
You’ll also:
- Have a genuine interest in cooking and food
- Be willing to learn and take direction
- Work well as part of a team
- Have positive communication skills
- Take pride in producing consistent, well‑presented food
- Be reliable and punctual
- Understand basic kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Be available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
Chef qualifications are not required, and training will be provided for the right candidate.
