How ‘bout we cut this bad flare off and get down to the deal? Our small business is located in Greta, NSW. We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, ever.

Honestly, the job is not all roses and puppy dogs — there is some good news and there is some bad news. Let’s get the bad news out of the way first:

- The pay sucks.

Meaning, you won’t get rich at this job (unless you LOVE overtime). The pay is between $45-50/hour. BUT we are offering a SIGN ON BONUS or RELOCATION BONUS - You choose! SO You will have some extra spending money for sure, however if you are seeking a job to support a yacht sailing, world travelling, mansion buying lifestyle this no longer the ”coolest” air con job ever, it is now the “suckiest” full time air con job ever.

Now let’s talk about the good stuff:

1. Location: Based in Greta, Hunter Valley — about 30 minutes from Newcastle. A daily country drive that doubles as genuine wind-down time each way. Okay, so that part is maybe not the greatest, but there are some (truly) great things...

2. The work: A varied mix of commercial refrigeration, commercial and residential AC — servicing, repairs and maintenance. You'll work directly with our founder Brendan. No domestic fridges or appliances, ever.

3. We aren’t big on stress. The culture: Relaxed and communicator-focused — we care about doing the job right, not rushing it. Summer gets busy (and your pay reflects that), but stress isn't our style.

4. The hours and days can be flexible.



We will work with your schedule to get a routine that works for you. Four days a week best for you? Kids have a school concert… No problem, lets work it out!

5. Your say: This isn't a clock-in, clock-out role. You'll have real input into the work you do, focus on the areas you enjoy most, and bring your own ideas to the table — something no big company would ever offer.

6. Long-term rewards: After 12 months (sooner if you're exceptional) you'll receive regular pay rises and a share in the profits and career progression opportunities. Not many small businesses offer that — we do.

7. We are a small social group that love a good catch up, a meal and a few drinks, we try and get together and do something fun. You don’t need to be skilled at roller skating, laser tag or bowling, but you will likely join in on the fun.

Now, let’s talk about what we're looking for:

Someone who gets genuine satisfaction from completing a job correctly and leaving clients impressed

Comfortable on the road and confident with clients — good communication, tech-savvy with apps and software, and a solid understanding of AC and refrigeration

At ease in people's homes — happy to chat, share advice and build rapport naturally

Someone who genuinely cares about delivering a great experience,



not just completing a task.

Detail-oriented and methodical — we'd rather you slow down and get it right than rush and cut corners.

Quiet and meticulous works perfectly here — we're not after the life of the party, just a positive person who gets things done right, shows up on time and takes pride in their work

You will need to demonstrate:

Light commercial and residential air conditioning servicing, commissioning and maintenance experience.

Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

A current full Australian Driver's Licence.

Australian residency and/or valid Australian permit to work.

In short, your job is to help Brendan and the team in any way you can. And to have fun at work (who wants a job that isn’t fun?!?). Our office is casual, but we do expect professionalism, punctuality and to be a go getter!

If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it…we prefer getting paid as well) this is what we offer: This is a full time Air Conditioning and Refrigeration SERVICE TECHNICIAN job.

The pay is $45 - $50an hour and the base hours will be 38 hours a week. You must come into our Greta Office at least three times a week (sorry, but this is not a virtual job).

Company vehicle, uniform, bonuses and allowances.

Flexible work hours Mon-Fri. Overtime available.
