We?re looking for a Senior Manual Machinist to joinour Fabrication Team in Hemmant Workshop, working across precision machining, heavymachine operations, fitting and alignment for industrial fabrication, repairand maintenance projects.

This is a hands-on role for a machinist who knows theirtrade, works independently and takes pride in getting the job right.

What the Role Involves

You?ll be responsible for precision manual machining acrossa range of industrial fabrication, repair and maintenance projects.

You?ll be involved in:

- Settingup and operating manual lathes, borers, mills, grinders and drill presses
- Turning,milling, drilling, tapping, grinding and precision machining
- Readingdrawings and working to tight tolerances and specifications
- Precisionfitting, assembly, alignment and quality inspection of components
- Workingindependently while supporting apprentices, junior machinists and thewider workshop team
- Maintainingmachinery, tooling and a clean, safe workshop environment

Are You an ENAP Fit?

- 8+years? experience in manual machining
- CertificateIII in Engineering ? Mechanical Trade or equivalent
- Strongexperience operating manual lathes, borers and milling machines
- Strongknowledge of manual machining techniques and processes
- Abilityto read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strongfitting, alignment and precision measurement skills




- Abilityto work independently and solve machining challenges
- Experienceworking with a range of materials and industrial components
- TIGand MIG welding capability highly regarded
- Experiencementoring apprentices or junior machinists highly regarded
