NXT Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established family business to find a dedicated Shop Assistant for afternoon shifts in Carlisle.
This is a excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive team offering excellent service to local customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping the shop and forecourt clean, safe and presentable
- Cleaning the Costa coffee machine during your shift
- Monitoring and recording all fridge and food temperatures
- Replenishing shelves with accurate stock rotation
- Organising cigarette stock near the end of the shift
- Arranging and maintaining newspaper and magazine displays
- Flattening cardboard and managing waste correctly
What you’ll bring:
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Great timekeeping and reliability
- Experience in customer-facing roles is a bonus
- Comfortable with cash handling and general security awareness
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- A driving licence is required due to the site’s location
