About the Role:

- Deliver training, mentoring, coaching, and supervision to build staff capability and promote best-practice support for children with disabilities, developmental delay, or developmental concerns.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, key-worker model to strengthen family capacity, enhance social participation, and improve quality of life.
- Connect families with community resources, mainstream services, and available supports to ensure meaningful participation and inclusion.

About You

As an Allied Health Early Supports Specialist, you will:

- Share knowledgein my discipline as part of a team of frontline professionals to support the delivery of best-practice service to children & families.
- Use my Bachelor's degree or higher qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology to support evidence-based decision-making and practice.
- Facilitate training, support & coaching for frontline staff in a multidisciplinary team.
- Support the delivery of workshops & groups to equip families with the knowledge they need to support their child’s development.
- Work within afamily-centred approach that focuses on building the knowledge & capacity of parents and carers.

Who are we?
The NDIS Partners in the Community Program (PITC) supports the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to be implemented locally.

As an NDIA partner, Northcott will deliver the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service to local communities in Northern NSW, Mid North Coast, Hunter New England, North Sydney, and Western Sydney. The EC approach supports activities that improve the independence and social participation of children aged 0-9 with developmental delay and/or disability.
