Key Responsibilities:

Investment Screening & Assessment

- Manage the intake, review and assessment of investment opportunities.
- Conduct initial commercial, financial and strategic analysis to determine investment suitability and alignment with investment objectives.
- Identify key risks, opportunities and value drivers associated with prospective transactions.
- Undertake market, industry and competitor analysis to support investment decision-making.
- Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management, ensuring high-quality opportunities are effectively assessed and prioritised.

Relationship Management & Business Development

- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with corporates, financial sponsors, advisers, lenders, investors and industry participants.
- Act as a key external representative of the organisation and contribute to the development of a strong market presence.
- Build and manage networks that support the generation of high-quality investment opportunities.
- Engage regularly with counterparties throughout the evaluation and transaction process.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen commercial relationships and expand investment origination channels.

Stakeholder Management & Investment Execution Support

- Partner closely with investment professionals, legal counsel, risk teams and other internal stakeholders throughout the investment process.
- Coordinate due diligence, information requests and transaction workstreams across multiple parties.
- Prepare and contribute to investment papers, committee materials and senior stakeholder presentations.
- Facilitate efficient progression of opportunities through internal review and approval processes.

Market Insights & Strategic Analysis

- Monitor market developments, industry trends and emerging investment opportunities.
- Generate insights to support investment strategy, chance sourcing and pipeline development.
- Maintain robust reporting, pipeline tracking and management information to support decision-making.

You are commercially astute, intellectually curious and thrive in environments where investment judgement, relationship management and stakeholder coordination are equally important.

You possess strong analytical capabilities, sound commercial judgement and the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. You are comfortable assessing complex opportunities, influencing outcomes and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.

Skills & Experience

- Experience evaluating investment, transaction or strategic opportunities.
- Strong commercial and financial analysis capability.
- Demonstrated ability to assess risk, opportunity and strategic fit across a range of investment situations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience navigating complex organisations and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive-level materials.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, transaction-oriented environment.
