Cleanaway is launching a paid Driver Academy in Wingfield to train and employ women, female-identifying and non-binary people as Heavy Rigid drivers. No heavy vehicle experience is required; successful candidates will gain HR licence training, mentoring and on‑the‑job experience for a long-term career in waste management.
The program culminates in a Driver/Multi-Systems Operator role serving Adelaide metropolitan customers, with a supportive fleet and career pathways inside Cleanaway.
