Bradnam’s Windows & Doors is looking for a Service Scheduler to join our Hervey Bay team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, solving problems and working with a wide range of people to ensure our customers receive an exceptional service experience.

The Service Scheduler plays a critical role in the planning, coordination and delivery of service and installation activities. You will be responsible for scheduling technicians and installers, managing customer service requests, coordinating materials and resources, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, employees, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same. You will need to think on your feet, work quickly and efficiently, confidently manage competing priorities and stay one step ahead of potential issues.

A key part of the role will be proactively managing services that cannot be completed as originally scheduled. This includes rescheduling work, communicating changes with customers and employees, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure the right materials and resources are available when needed.

As a key point of contact between our customers and service teams, you will play an important role in delivering a positive customer experience while helping keep our service operations running efficiently.

You will be responsible for scheduling technicians and installers, managing customer service requests, coordinating materials and resources, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, employees, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule service and installation work to ensure timely completion while maintaining cost effectiveness and operational efficiency.

- Allocate technicians, installers, labour, materials and other resources to meet customer and business requirements.

- Monitor daily service and installation schedules and proactively identify and address delays, cancellations and rescheduling requirements.

- Reschedule services that are unable to be completed as planned, ensuring customers, technicians, installers and relevant stakeholders are kept informed.

- Act as a primary point of contact for customer service and installation enquiries.

- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, employees, contractors and suppliers.

- Resolve customer concerns and service issues in a timely and professional manner.

- Manage a high volume of service requests and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.

- Conduct site inspections and performance reviews to assess the quality of installation and service work.

- Ensure service and installation work is completed in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.

- Coordinate the requisition and supply of materials required for service and installation activities.

- Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available when required.

- Ensure materials are available and ready for collection prior to scheduled works.

- Maintain accurate records, schedules and service information within relevant business systems.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements.





- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling, communication and service processes.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across service operations.

About You

We are looking for a reliable, highly organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership and keeping things on track.

You will be someone who can confidently manage a busy workload, communicate clearly and remain calm when priorities change.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a service coordination, scheduling, administration, customer service or operational support role.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.

- The ability to work quickly, think on your feet and make sound decisions under pressure.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external customers.

- The ability to confidently communicate changes, delays and rescheduling requirements to customers, employees and suppliers.

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.

- The ability to remain calm, qualified and solutions-focused in a high-pressure environment.

- High levels of reliability, accountability and commitment.

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and business management systems.

- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Experience within the building products, construction, manufacturing, glazing, windows and doors, or trade services industry is desirable but not essential.
