Paediatric Physiotherapist | Hybrid, community role Brisbane|

We want you to join our passionate team at Play-based Paediatrics . As a mobile allied health device covering the greater Brisbane area, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, play-based therapy to support the physical, cognitive, neurological and social development of children with a diverse range of needs.

You will join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting your career development as well as job satisfaction You will be supported day to day (both in person with the senior physiotherapist ( as needed) or over teams /zoom, to reach your full potential and to ensure absolute work life balance. We also share cases and strategies at least once monthly to keep everyone up to date.

We believe that therapy in a situation where a child is most comfortable, involving and educating their carers and family, is most likely to achieve the best engagement and long term results.

Maintaining a smaller business model, we believe that we can provide the best quality and continuity of care to our patients, whilst providing the best support to newer practitioners and a clear and rewarding career direction for experienced practitioners. This also maximises collaboration between treating practitioners delivering the best outcomes and support for our patients, their carers and the team. This avoids dilution by a large corporate structure. Our key priorities are quality and continuity of care and happy and supported practitioners and families.





This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young patients and their families. We are willing to consider a part-time candidate or a flexible starting date for the right applicant.

What you'll be doing

- Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for paediatric clients
- Implement evidence-based, play-focused interventions to achieve client goals and improve functional outcomes
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive, holistic approach
- Document clinical notes, progress reports and other administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our paediatric therapy services
- Participate in team meetings, in-services and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Physiotherapy
- Registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
- Valid Drivers' licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and their families
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Must hold an appropriate visa with unrestricted work rights for the duration of the employment.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality, fun,



innovative paediatric Physiotherapy services
- New and recent graduates should apply if you are passionate about paediatric Physiotherapy.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental delays, disabilities or complex needs
- Experience working within the NDIS framework is desirable.
- Hydrotherapy experience.
