The Senior Digital Officer manages and optimises the Academy's digital channels and platforms, driving digital engagement and a solid user experience. This role ensures the Academy's digital presence supports all legislated objectives and audience needs across government, Catholic and Independent school sectors.

This position commences 1 January 2027

About the Division

The Academy Services Divisionprovidesa range of specialist services to teams across the Academy, to program participants (potential and current) and to external venue hire stakeholders to ensure an inclusive high quality professional learning or event management experience for our stakeholders. The Division's specialist areas include learning design, participant, event and program support, and strategic engagement.

About the Team





The Strategic Engagement teamis responsible forleading the Academy's engagement strategy,positioningand marketing to participants (past, current and potential), and to other identified audiences asrequired. The team manages the Academy's brand,channelsand digital presence, and develops and delivers integrated content aligned to all legislatedobjectives.

This teamis responsible forstrategic narrative, campaign execution, and publication and promotion of insights and resources. It is also responsible for developingassets to support promotion of venue hire opportunities across multiple channels and for a variety of audiences.The primary audience for the team's work includesprogram participants (past, present and potential), parents and cross-sectoral stakeholders.

The Strategic Engagement team works in close collaboration with theOCEOforthe stakeholderengagement function on shared priorities, such as, but not limited to, initiatives to raise public awareness of the status of the professionandthecontinued focus on theAcademy's engagement with the Catholic and independent sectors.

About the Role

The Senior Digital Officer manages and optimises the Academy's digital channels and platforms, driving digital engagement and a strong user experience. This role ensures the Academy's digit al presence supports all legislated objectives and audience needs across government, Catholic and Independent school sectors.

As the Academy's Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject matter expert, the role leads the optimisation and governance of the platform, establishing best practice, building organisational capability and enabling personalised, data-driven engagement that enhances customer experience and strengthens the Academy's brand.

The responsibilities of the Senior Digital Officer include:

- Lead the Academy's optimisation, governance and ongoing development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related digital platforms, systems and integrations to maximise organisational capability and deliver a seamless user experience.




- Develop and implement performance frameworks, reporting and insights to support continuous improvement.
- Analyse digital and campaign performance and provide insights to identify opportunities to improve user experience, engagement and conversion.
- Lead SEO, UX and digital optimisation initiatives to strengthen the Academy's digital presence.
- Provide specialist advice on channel strategy, marketing automation, audience targeting and customer journey design.

- Enable best practice in digital marketing and marketing automation across the Academy through capability building, governance and continuous improvement.
- Undertake other duties and initiatives, consistent with the classification of the role, as organisational priorities and the needs of the Academy evolve.

Capabilities

- Strong knowledge of contemporary marketing, digital engagement and CX best practice, including digital and traditional communication channels
- Ability to optimise digital channels and marketing automation platforms to improve CX experience and engagement
- Ability to establish best practice and build organisational capability in the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Ability to use data, analytics and provide insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Strong planning, organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Highly developed communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications and Experience

- A tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or similaris desirable
- Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable enterprise marketing automation platform
- Experience in education sector is desirable.
